Required documentation to obtain a loan
– Valid government photo identification (drivers license, passport)
– Signed social security card (not laminated)
– Last three employment paycheck stubs
– ASUME Certification (it can be obtained online at www.pr.gov)
– Copy of a check, money order, or transfer of purchase option money
– Copy of the purchase option contract
– Contact real estate broker if applicable
– Deeds of the property to be purchased
– Property Tax Number (Crim)
– If the client is divorced, copy of divorce decree and stipulation of divorce.
– In case of capitulations, a certified copy will be necessary
– In case of a 203K Loan, an estimate by a DACO certified contractor of the cost of materials and labor is required
– Last 3 months of bank statements for all liquid asset accounts such as:
a. checking
b. savings
c. IRA
d. credit union accounts
e. 401k plans, among others
